Our June meeting will start with the playlist session. Bring a short, well prepared work if you wish to perform.

From 3:30pm, we present Step Forward: a group of players associated with the Society are attending and competing at the Guitar Foundation of America Convention and competitions in Denver later in June, and the Society is pleased to give them the opportunity to present some of the pieces they are preparing for the event.

The 2026 CGS Summer School presented 5 days (5th to 9th January 2026) of intensive learning and musical challenge at Ascham School, Edgecliff.

Participants enjoyed a stellar Summer School tutor team and Guest Tutor, Ingrid Riollot, in small ensembles, workshops, masterclasses and the mighty Guitar Orchestra under the baton of Richard Charlton. Concerts by Andrew Blanch and the Summer School Tutors were highlights throughout the week. It was an inspirational start to our 2026 year!
