Our June meeting will start with the playlist session. Bring a short, well prepared work if you wish to perform.

From 3.30-4.30pm we present a special programme, "Step Forward”.

Six young players are heading to the GFA (Guitar Foundation of America) Convention in Denver, USA in June to compete in the prestigious 'International Concert Artist Competition' and 'International Youth Competition’.

To show our support, we have invited Brett Gomez, Jeffrey Cheah, Marcus Chun, Aram Tontian, Eden Li and Elaine Bu to present one or two of their required competition works. We know that these players will value the opportunity to present their works to an appreciative audience, and our support of these ‘next gen’ players is an important part of what we do as a Guitar Society.

The Classical Guitar Society is proud to showcase the exceptional talents of the winners of the 2026 Sydney Eisteddfod guitar events. The concert will also feature performances by S.G.S. Youth Ensemble, the SoR ensemble, Trio North and The Sydney Guitar Collective. Join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening of inspired solo and ensemble music making.
