Join the Society!

Join the society to support our aims and activities supporting the classical guitar in Sydney.

By joining, you will:

  • get discounts on tickets to our concerts, the Summer School, and occasionally other events

  • use the Library (available at meetings)

  • play in our Orchestra, and in other ensembles by invitation

Members receive regular email updates from the Society about our activities and other things guitar related.

How to join or renew membership

For new members:

To apply to join the society, fill in the membership form below.
When we receive your request, we will send a reply email with further details. You do not need to pay until your membership is approved.

Our membership year runs from 1 July to June 30: from late March, we take advance memberships that run until July of the following year.

For existing (and expired/former) members:

Renewal payments will be taken via Humanitix. Please contact us if you need to change your details.

Current membership rates

There are three classes of membership:

  • Standard membership $70

  • Concession rate for students, under 16, pensioners $35

  • Family membership $105

Family membership entitles your immediate family to the benefits of membership, but you have only one vote at general meetings.
